1. From VIth standard onwards there will be only half yearly assessment and annual assessment.
2. The following skill tests will be conducted for all the classes without prior notice.
   • • Reading
     • Writing
     • Knowledge
     • Understanding
     • Application.
3. Promotions are decided as per the basis of internal assessment of each student.
4. If a student fails to appear for the annual assessment due to illness, he/she will not be given opportunity for another assessment. His/her promotion will be decided on the basis of his/her performance at the skill tests, unit test, terminal assessment, and they should also produce medical certificate.
5. In deciding promotions the following points will be taken into account :-
   • • The performance by the students in the unit test, half yearly assessment, annual assessment, internal assessment and the performance in the skill tests.
     • Regular and punctual attendance.
